Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Gains Global Accolades for Privacy Display and AI Features

Samsung Electronics’ latest flagship, the Galaxy S26 Ultra, is drawing international attention for its AI features and a privacy-focused display, with favorable early reviews for the accompanying Galaxy Buds4 Pro as well.

TechRadar in the United Kingdom called the S26 Ultra “the strongest leap” in the Galaxy S line to date, highlighting the privacy display that limits viewing angles to block surrounding eyes from peering at the screen as a core innovation.

Mashable, a prominent U.S. tech outlet, praised the device for delivering a future-oriented and practical innovation, noting that it includes a feature Apple has not yet matched.

An international image-quality evaluator, VCX, ranked the Galaxy S26 Ultra No. 1 in smartphone camera performance in its rankings, underscoring the phone’s appeal to high-end mobile photography enthusiasts.

Forbes Vetted, the product-review arm of Forbes, named the Galaxy S26 Ultra the Best Product, reflecting favorable reception within U.S.-based business media circles.

At Mobile World Congress 2026 in Barcelona, the S26 Ultra won the Best Exhibit Product award from the judging panel, which praised its expansion of mobile technology boundaries and its focus on a privacy display as addressing security and trust in today’s digital environment.

The Galaxy Buds4 Pro also earned positive notes abroad. CNET described improvements in sound clarity and balance, while Tom’s Guide gave it 4.5 out of 5 stars and named it an Editor’s Choice.

Samsung has a track record of design recognition for its audio accessories. Earlier Buds3 FE and Buds3 Pro won iF Design Award 2026 and the Red Dot Design Award 2025, and the Buds4 series is being entered for the 2026 Red Dot, 2026 IDEA, and the 2027 iF Design Award.

Context for U.S. readers: Samsung’s performance in high-end smartphones and premium wireless audio matters to American consumers because the Galaxy S26 Ultra competes for market share against rivals such as Apple and Google, shaping perceptions of mobile privacy features, on-device AI capabilities, and premium sound. The awards and international reviews signal how South Korea’s largest electronics exporter is positioning its flagship devices for global markets, with potential implications for U.S. supply chains, component demand (screens, processors, memory, and audio hardware), and cross-border tech collaboration.
