LG CNS, Palantir Team Up to Accelerate AI Across Industries

LG CNS is accelerating its AI transformation (AX) business by forming a strategic partnership with Palantir Technologies of the United States and creating a dedicated Forward Deployment Engineering (FDE) organization to drive the effort.

Palantir’s offerings include Foundry, which unifies and cleans dispersed corporate data to create a data-driven operating system, and AIP, an AI platform that combines generative AI with the integrated data environment to support real-time decision-making.

Under the partnership, LG CNS will provide Palantir Foundry and AIP as enterprise platforms customized for individual customers. To execute this, LG CNS will establish the FDE team to collaborate with Palantir and identify high-value AX deployment tasks across industries such as manufacturing, energy, electronics, and logistics.

Expansion will begin with LG Group affiliates. One LG subsidiary completed a proof-of-concept applying Foundry and AIP to quality management and has since signed a main business contract. LG CNS has also completed internal validation, linking its own data platform and analytics with Foundry to analyze operational and business data in real time and to enable risk forecasting and decision support through AIP.

With these internal results as a foundation, LG CNS intends to push external growth, leveraging its industrial expertise alongside Palantir’s platform capabilities to drive AX innovation for customers.
